Return Policy

Flower order cancellation policy

Once we receive your order, we start preparing for it right away, sourcing flowers just for you! For this reason, we require 72 hours' notice in advance of the pick-up/delivery date to cancel your flower order. Flower cancellations are eligible for store credit only. Flower orders cancelled within 48 hours of being placed (but not within the 72-hour pick-up/delivery date) are eligible for a full refund.

Due to special sourcing considerations, we require 1-week advance notice to change delivery date for arrangements from our order menu.

Updating your order

If you’d like to cancel or edit the delivery address on your order, please email us at shop@sandiegoblooms.com as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate requests. Our customer care team is available M-Sat, and requests outside of these business hours are not guaranteed.

Non-Delivery

If you place an order and the recipient rejects delivery, whatever the reason, San Diego Blooms will not provide a refund and cannot be held liable for the recipient’s decision. If we are unable to substantiate your claim, we reserve the right to reject that claim.

Quality

Once flowers leave our shop premises/delivery vehicle, San Diego Blooms LLC. is no longer responsible for any damage incurred due to mishandling, transit, weather, etc. If you are unhappy with the quality of your arrangement, please give us a call or email within 24 hours. In most cases, we will gladly replace the arrangement. No refunds or replacements will be made after this period. Nor will refunds or replacements be made based on improper plant or flower care on the part of the recipient.

Flower Substitutions

San Diego Blooms LLC. reserves the right to make substitutions in the event the flowers we receive are not of the quality suitable for your flower order. In this event, the integrity of the proposed color scheme will be maintained, and flowers of equivalent value will be used.

Shop Merchandise + Gifts

We’re happy offer an exchange or store credit for returns of full-priced items purchased online from a San Diego Blooms store that is for merchandise and not flowers, within 72 hours. Please provide all the original packaging, as well as the receipt. All sale items are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.

Return Shipping

To initiate return shipping, please email shop @sandiegoblooms.com along with your order number and details of your return. Once your return has been received, it takes our team 3–5 business days to process your return. Once this has been completed, we will then issue you a refund. If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of your return arriving at our studio, please contact us atshop@sandiegoblooms.com. Please note: We are unable to cover return shipping costs at this time.

Terms of Service and Waiver of Liability

San Diego Blooms strives to provide excellent customer service. It is our belief that a satisfied customer equals success. Therefore, we understand your concerns about security and proper fulfillment of any order placed online or via telephone. The following statement explains our terms of service and discloses our Return and Refund Policy.

Fresh Material

San Diego Blooms makes every effort possible to match requests for colors, varieties, sizes and quantities of fresh floral materials. However, fresh products are subject to the laws of nature. Substitutions may be made at our discretion using flowers of equal or greater value to maintain the integrity of your order.

Accountability

Once flowers leave San Diego Blooms, we are no longer responsible for arrangements or décor. We cannot be held liable for damage caused by weather or by persons not affiliated with our staff.

Force Majeure

If San Diego Blooms is unable to fulfill your order due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, civil disturbances, or other causes beyond our control, all payments—except the deposit—will be refunded in full.

Flower Substitutions

San Diego Blooms reserves the right to substitute flowers when necessary due to quality or availability. Substitutions will maintain the intended color palette and value. Because all our arrangements are unique, availability may vary. All flower orders are final. Once delivered by a third party, San Diego Blooms is no longer responsible for any issues including damage, transit, or weather-related effects.

Cancellation Policy

Things happen—we get it! Cancellations or changes are evaluated case-by-case. For event orders, please notify us at least 1 week in advance.

Shop Merchandise

Merchandise may be returned for store credit or exchanged within 3 days of purchase with receipt or proof of payment. Items must be unused and in original packaging. All merchandise is sold as-is with no warranty.

Claim Non-Delivery

If you claim non-delivery, please allow 24–48 hours for investigation. In most cases, it's a missed delivery due to no one being available to accept it. We reserve the right to redeliver or refund based on the findings of our investigation.

Rejected Delivery

If a recipient rejects delivery, no refund will be issued and San Diego Blooms is not liable.

Undeliverable Orders

If a driver cannot access the delivery location, they will attempt to contact the recipient and wait 15 minutes. If undeliverable, the order is returned to the studio. We’ll follow up to arrange redelivery or pickup. If there’s no reply within 2 days, the order is forfeited. Redelivery fees range from $15–$50 based on zone.

A local delivery fee is added per order, per address. Orders for same-day delivery must be placed by 11:00 a.m. in the recipient’s time zone. We cannot guarantee delivery time windows or delivery on Sundays.

Quality

If there are concerns about the quality of delivered flowers, contact us within 24 hours. We may offer a replacement. No refunds or replacements are issued after this period or due to improper care by the recipient.

Workshop Refunds

To cancel a workshop ticket for a full refund, email us within 48 hours of purchase. Cancellations made more than 48 hours after purchase may be eligible for store credit or rescheduling. No refunds or credits will be issued after the event has started.

Workshop Waiver of Liability

Waiver: Participation in workshops involves risk. By attending, you release San Diego Blooms LLC and its staff from all liability for injury, illness, or property damage, including those related to alcohol use and tools.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify San Diego Blooms LLC against any claims or costs arising from your participation in the workshop.

Severability: If any part of this waiver is deemed unenforceable, the remaining parts remain valid.

Photo Release: You grant San Diego Blooms LLC permission to use your (or your child’s) photo for promotional purposes.

Parent or Guardian: If the participant is a minor, you confirm you are authorized to agree to these terms on their behalf and accept all associated terms and conditions.

 

Delivery Options

Delivery

We offer flower delivery throughout most of North County San Diego County from Monday–Saturday. Our team delivers to most areas reflected on our colorful zip code map in our Delivery Options section.

Deliveries arrive between 10am – 5pm. Priority timeframes may be available for an additional fee. Email us at shop@sandiegoblooms.com to coordinate.

Same Day Orders

Need something fast? Same-day deliveries must usually be placed by 11 a.m. However, if we already have a driver near your recipient, we may be able to accommodate late requests—just call us!

For same-day delivery, call us at (760) 877-1201. Orders must be placed by 12PM for delivery before 5PM. Same-day pickup orders may be placed online until 11AM for afternoon pickup.

A local delivery fee applies to each order and address. This may vary for deliveries outside our local area. Orders received after 11AM will be delivered the next day. We cannot guarantee exact delivery times, and we do not deliver on Sundays. Orders scheduled for Sunday will be delivered the next business day. We cannot guarantee delivery to rural addresses or cemeteries.
